The six remaining home cooks got their chance to work in a real kitchen, as it was restaurant takeover time on MasterChef Season 4 last night, but only five of them would be moving on in the competition, so who went home on MasterChef 2013 Season 4 last night? It was all about the restaurant takeover last night on Master Chef 2013, as the home cooks would be taking over one of Wolfgang Puck’s restaurants. They will be serving modern Chinese food, but in a fine-dining setting! Bri and Natasha are captains and Natasha gets Jessie and Luca and Bri gets James and is stuck with Krissi.
The teams get started and Bri and the Blue Team are moving along nicely with the appetizers, as the Red Team is struggling. That switched during the entrees, as Krissi is struggling with the shrimp and Chef Gordon Ramsay has to step in and help her out. In the end, the Blue Team was the losing team and Krissi again faces the Pressure Test.
All three chefs had to participate in the challenge, which was to clean, prepare and cook calamari with a marinara sauce. James cooked a perfect calamari, but he forgot to do the sauce and was stuck with a can of tomatoes in a bowl! The judges were not impressed, but the calamari was perfect and that saved him.
Bri and Krissi were in danger of leaving MasterChef 2013 Season 4 last night. Both had undercooked calamari, but Krissi had a great sauce and Bri added lemon juice and it made it acidic. That was her downfall and for the second time this season, Bri was eliminated on MasterChef Season 4!
